Mimosart Studio Artist

About the artist

Hello and welcome to my art corner! So happy you stopped by!

Hi! My name is Clara and I am the artist behind Mimosart Studio. I’m 23 and I live in Catalonia.

I want to tell you a little bit more about me: I’ve been drawing since I can remember, and have always loved it. I always thought of it as a hobby because I didn’t want to get tired of it, but here I am. I studied Graphic Design and I want to share my ideas and my art with the world as well as I want to help people make their ideas become true. And I’m happy to say that so far, I’m loving it!

What I like the most about art is that it can make you feel so many different things, so I usually like to use it to spread a message. Almost all of my illustrations have a meaning behind them. Nature is what inspires me the most and usually my art always has a touch of nature in it.

So, if you are someone who also loves art and/or nature, likes meaningful art or you are just curious, you are very welcome to follow me on my art journey!

The origin of Mimosart Studio

“I knew from the start I didn’t want to use my real name for my art. I wanted something with meaning, something that represented me and my values and that brought me closer to home. Kind of as a reminder to myself too.”

Why did I choose the Mimosa tree?

So, my grandma’s house is my happy place and I spent a lot of time there growing up. There was a giant mimosa tree in the backyard and we used to play underneath its beautiful yellow flowers. The trunk was twisted and it looked like two people hugging, reminding me of my grandparents. But one day the wind was so strong I saw the mimosa fall down before my eyes. I couldn’t believe it!

However, after some time, two new mimosas started to grow on the same spot, from the old one! I was so happy to see that!

It made me feel like we have to stay strong and that we can overcome anything in our lives. And not only that, but when I did some research, I found out that the mimosa also represents family, friendship, resilience, happiness and hope.

And those are the values that I want to share!
